At Roxbury Latin, we are committed to shaping gifted generalists; our students and faculty are broadly talented, eager to try new things and explore a variety of interests across disciplines. So when it came time to design a summer camp for young athletes, the sport we would choose was clear: all of them. Our campers start their day with a putter in hand and trade it for a baseball bat at noon. They learn the rules of European handball and try their hand (or foot, rather) at soccer in the same day. Our Junior Sports Program is an action-packed week for children aged 6-12 to develop as versatile athletes, build teamwork, and, most importantly, to have fun.

Our athletes engage in their favorite sports and try brand new ones, taking advantage of our beautiful 117-acre campus, new indoor athletic facilities, and both grass and turf fields. This program is for all levels, providing challenges for novice and experienced athletes. Our counselors are experienced athletes and earnest, energetic role models who offer top-notch instruction and facilitate game play for two sports each day. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive environment for your child to learn, grow, and wear themselves out before dinner.

The Junior Sports Program covers a wide variety of sports including but not limited to soccer, basketball and flag football. Other acitivities include dodgeball, kickball and capture the flag. We split into older and younger groups to ensure safe, fair, and tough competition:
