It’s been proven that effective study skills, routines, and habits lead to a more successful academic experience. For students to be successful in class—and in the years to come—they must learn how to develop strong study habits and the skills necessary to use their learning time efficiently and effectively.
The Study Skills program is designed to help students learn, understand, and reinforce concepts presented in their everyday classes. Students will have the opportunity to develop and strengthen effective, healthy study habits and learn strategies—in organization, note-taking, listening well, and preparing for assignments and assessments—through various methods.
For: Boys and Girls, Grade 5 through Grade 8
Weeks Available: Session 1: July 5-July 22, 2021 (three-week commitment)
Session 2: July 26-August 12, 2021 (three-week commitment)
Times Available: 2:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
