Mass Audubon BNC Camps
Every summer, owls, hawks, falcons, and ravens roam our 117 acres discovering hidden wooded paths and sifting through vernal pools. Of course, owls, hawks, falcons, and ravens are the names of camper groups at Mass Audubon’s BNC summer camp… but the real birds are often around too!
Mass Audubon campers delight in the wonders of nature through trail explorations, outdoor play, and scientific investigation. They enjoy access to Roxbury Latin’s mature forest, wetlands, newly constructed outdoor classroom, athletic fields, gym, and lab spaces. Older campers learn about environmental issues, like renewable energy and climate change, and follow their own interests through inquiry-based activities, while younger campers use their five senses to explore the natural world and participate in art projects and learning games. The caring Mass Audubon staff create a safe and inclusive environment for campers, offer individualized attention in small groups, and keep everyone away from poison ivy!
Join Mass Audubon this summer to pick blueberries, create leaf prints, identify wildlife, investigate renewable resources, and so much more. There is so much to discover—step outside with us!
